Yes, I seem to recall the hype about laserdiscs but it's hardly surprising they didn't take off at a cost of £700 for the player! Blimey, that's expensive. Reminds me of the minidisc which never really took off either, don't really know why because I don't think the players were overly expensive. I guess everyone was happy with CDs, so why move onto another form of disc.

Just bought some great Space 1999 screen used prop pieces recently on ebay (with certificates of authenticity signed by Phil Rae). Pictures (including picture of the 'City' model from which the bits have come from) to follow Very Happy
